Muesli is basically oatmeal that is yet to be cooked, and granola that is yet to be baked. It’s perfect for those who forgot to make over-night oats before hitting the sheets, and those who can barely think straight in the morning to even attempt cooking. The many times I’ve frantically rushed into the kitchen too late and notice that my oatmeal has congealed into one giant inedible lump, has been reduced to zero thanks to muesli.
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup non-dairy milk
1/4 cup diced apple
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp dried cranberries
1 tbsp sliced almonds
1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tsp maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon
Place your rolled oats and milk in a bowl and let sit for about 15 minutes until the oats have absorbed most of the milk and has become soft.
Toss in the rest of ingredients, mix, and enjoy!
