I remember taking this green juice on the way to work one morning. I had finished it by the time I arrived and the foamy film sat at the bottom of my juice. A co-worker of mine came over to my table, took one look at the juice and asked me what that mossy green fuzz in my cup was. I explained. He interrupted by saying, “It looks like baby’s diarrhea.”
Wait, I’m supposed to get you to drink this stuff. I swear, it might be difficult to imagine but it tastes nothing like um, what my co-worker said. It’s sweet and perfectly tart, the juice, I mean. Make it and thank me later.
1/2 an inch ginger
1 cup of unpacked spinach leaves
1 slice of lemon, peeled
1 Granny Smith apple
1/4 cup filtered water
In your juicer, toss in the ginger first, followed by the spinach, lemon and apple. Lastly add about a 1/4 cup of water to make sure you get as much of the juice.
